The NIBIN Board was created in May 1997 in order to provide guidance to ATF during the creation of the NIBIN Program. The board is comprised of a member from ATF and a member from the State/Local law enforcement community. This ensures that all viewpoints will be heard on issues affecting the NIBIN Program’s operation as the rollout proceeds.
Concerning the NIBIN Board, here are the names of the current members: Carson W. Carroll, Assistant Director Enforcement Programs and Services, ATF; William M. Casey, Deputy Superintendent, Boston Police Department.
